Your studio and your lab — arrange a pattern that plays as music, and build chords and intervals by ear or by eye. Both work fully with the sound off.

Pattern Grid Studio Arrange colors and shapes on a grid — top to bottom is high to low, left to right is time. Press play and watch the pattern become music. Pick a calm room, and save your patterns to this device. Chord & Interval Lab Build intervals and triads on a silent piano — stack a root, third and fifth, or find the note a Perfect 5th up. See which sounds settle and which want to move. A hint is always there after a first try. Staff Reader Read notes and intervals on the treble staff — name the note from where it sits on the lines and spaces, and name the interval between two notes. The bridge from the piano keys to the written page. Place on the Staff Now write it: click a spot on the treble staff to place a note that matches a letter — or a note a given interval above a shown one. The build side of reading music. Circle of Fifths Spin around the wheel of keys — each step clockwise is up a Perfect 5th and adds a sharp. Find a key's dominant (where it would Shift to), its relative minor, and the key for any number of sharps or flats.
