Meet your mentor

Every Spark & Anvil app has a friendly mentor character that demonstrates, praises, and patiently scaffolds learning. On-device AI personalizes the mentor's responses to your kid's progress — never connecting to a server, never collecting data.

CubeSensei is an app that teaches you how to solve a Rubik's Cube — and 27 other puzzles too! You'll start with the basics and work your way up to speedcubing, magic tricks, adventure games, and even the math behind it all.

Distributed-narrative cast

Meet the cast

CubeSensei's 6-character method-steward cast operates at the SOLVING METHOD scale (5 methods + 1 cross-method coordinator) — every algorithm in CubeSensei's 198-entry taxonomy is already a named pattern primitive at finer grain, so the right cast scale is method-stewards (Layer / Cross / Block / Edge / Pair) + cross-method look-ahead coordinator (Look). Cast appears on method-intro screens + algorithm-group introductions + Cube Builder collectibles + adventure-mode encounter art; static catchphrases ONLY (no FoundationModels access). NO real-cuber mascotization (Fridrich / Roux / Zborowski / Ortega credited as method-creators in static metadata ONLY). Per `cubesensei-app/Docs/HANDOFF_FROM_LABSMITH_DISTRIBUTED_NARRATIVE_RETROFIT.md` Wave 32b 2026-05-22. Cubix preserved as AI coach + primary visual identity. Labsmith generates ~$1.62 cast assets.
