What you do here

LyricForge is about writing the words — the lyric comes first; melody and chords serve the words. In the Lyric Lab you write a song line by line and watch three things update live:

• Syllables — how many beats each line has, so your lines stay in meter.
• Rhyme scheme — your lines get labelled A, B, C… so you can see your pattern (like A B A B).
• Structure — which part is a verse, a chorus, a bridge.

Then the Craft Drills give you quick practice at rhyme, meter and song structure.

Meet the craft friends

Five characters each teach one songwriting skill — Chime (rhyme), Holler (the hook and chorus), Spark (strong images), Step (meter and rhythm) and Turn (the bridge) — with Pip the sparrow to cheer you on.

Everything runs in your browser. No sign-in, no ads, no tracking. Your draft is saved on your device only — nothing leaves it.
