A student writes a wild hypothesis before ever watching the pendulum swing. What do See and Guess say to do first?
See then says: “The best hypotheses come from pure imagination, with no observation needed first.” — is that right?
Look first, then make your what-if.
Check (experiment — design and run the test, one test at a time) × Reflect (learn — interpret results and revise; what did we learn, what surprised us?)
A student runs a perfect experiment, records the numbers, and moves on without thinking about them. What do Check and Reflect say is missing?
Check then says: “Once you have run an experiment and recorded the numbers, there is no value in reflecting on them.” — is that right?
Run the test, then ask what it taught you.
