Drip (water and irrigation — water is the patient teacher; do not drown the thirsty) × Glow (photosynthesis — the leaf makes its lunch from light)
A plant in bright light still wilts and yellows. Why might Drip and Glow point at the watering?
Drip then says: “A plant in bright light will always make plenty of food no matter how you water it.” — is that right?
The link: water is an ingredient of the food the leaf makes from light.

Tuck (seed and planting — read the packet, then read the soil) × Vigil (observation and patience — look every day; do not pluck what is working)
A new gardener plants without reading anything, then keeps digging up seeds to check them. What do Tuck and Vigil teach?
Tuck then says: “The best gardening is done purely on instinct, with no reading and no daily observation.” — is that right?
