A Punnett square predicts exact ratios like 3 to 1. Why do Bead and Match mean the grid works at all?
Bead then says: “Traits blend like mixing paint, which is why Punnett squares give exact ratios.” — is that right?
The link: genes are discrete units, which is exactly what makes the crosses predictable.

Script (the genetic code — DNA to RNA to protein, a recipe) × Snip (mutation and CRISPR — variation and deliberate intervention)
Changing one DNA letter can change how a protein works. Why do Script and Snip explain that?
Script then says: “DNA letters carry no meaning, so editing one has no effect on the resulting protein.” — is that right?
The link: a mutation is an edit to the recipe the code reads into a protein.
Change a letter in the recipe, and the protein can change.
